Nithya Menen is an Indian film actress and playback singer. She has acted in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada language films, as well as an English film. Nithya Menon is known for her work on Ala Modalaindi (2011), Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde (2013) and OK Kanmani (2015).

Nithya Menen was born in Bengaluru, Karnataka to a Malayali family. Her mother’s family is from Palakkad, while her fathers is from Calicut. She was a Journalism student at the Manipal Institute of Communication.

Menen started her career as a child artist in the English film, The Monkey Who Knew Too Much (1998). In 2006, she started her acting career as a lead actor with the Kannada film 7 O’ Clock directed by Kannada’s top cinematographer Santosh Rai Pataje. In 2011, her first release was Nandini Reddy’s romantic comedy Ala Modalaindi, which was Nithya’s maiden Telugu venture as well. Her first 2012 release was the Telugu romance film Ishq with Nitin Reddy
